Voted Time Out Magazine’s “Most Creative New Yorker,” Borbay’s paintings have been featured by Forbes, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal Japan, BBC and Los Angeles Magazine. Globally celebrated by everyone from BBC World to the Wall Street Journal Japan, Borbay’s body of work has drawn comparisons to contemporary artists including Banksy, Shepard Fairey and Mr. Brainwash.  Borbay’s work has been showcased by Major League Baseball and featured by Simon & Schuster as the cover of “Michael Jackson, Inc.;” his collages incorporating New York Post headlines became a New York Post headline.  In December of 2014, Borbay’s collage painting of Serena Williams was auctioned for $14,000 to benefit The Serena Williams Foundation. He is painting The Guggenheim each year for 20 years, and intends to show the series in the Guggenheim itself.

Borbay’s creations, with their chasm-deep detail and painstaking process, have garnered the artist a large following from Manhattan to Milan, and his Warhol-esque willingness to mine pop imagery has earned the admiration of fans, educators and celebrities alike.
