Eileen Lang is inspired by the ancient techniques of Far East Suminagashi masters. Her artwork is the product of acrylic, India and sumi ink, nature and fate. The organic shapes are fortuitous and mystical. The message of each work is influenced and determined as inks interact and mingle on paper, creating works that capture the simplicity and complexity of nature, and present pigments in the poetry of their natural motion.
