Knowledge Bennett has focused on creating larger than life visual depictions of creative genius to create powerful photographic portraits. Inspired by Andy Warhol, Bennett has harnessed the impact of the repeated image. From one character to another, each work stands alone in expressing the singular essence he captures in each of his chosen subjects. Collectively, the works take on the additional power of testimony and convey defiance, courage and independence.
